Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant with a growing consumer brand in London's north-eastern suburbs. You will produce monthly management accounts and provide in-depth cost analysis to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly management reporting including P&L commentary and financial performance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse costs related to new store openings and coordinate billing for franchisees
- Inventory and stock control
- Conduct detailed profit and loss reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive profitability
- Perform in-depth analysis of overhead expenditures to support cost efficiency and budgetary control
- Report on group sales performance weekly, identifying trends and variances against targets
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting reports
Successful Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Available immediately or at short notice
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Proactive, hands-on approach to tasks and challenges
- FMCG retail/consumer sector (preferred)
