Role Overview:

Are you a driven Director of Business Development with a passion for securing new business? Do you excel at generating new logos and expanding your client portfolio? If so, this opportunity is tailor-made for you. We seek a dynamic Director of Business Development focused exclusively on new business acquisition. This role is about high-impact sales execution and building relationships with CMOs in the retail sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Focus on securing new clients and expanding our presence in the retail market.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with CMOs in brick-and-mortar retailers across Europe.
  • Solution Selling: Promote our innovative SaaS solution, demonstrating its value in transforming retail marketing.
  • Market Influence: Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retail marketing by engaging with top-tier retailers.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive company growth through strategic client acquisition and increased market presence.


Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience selling POS into bricks and mortar retailers - Essential
  • Martech Expertise: Deep understanding of MarTech solutions and experience in selling to the retail sector (bricks and mortar)
  • Retail Focus: Proven track record of selling marketing products to CMOs in bricks and mortar retail.
  • Sales Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to make data-driven decisions and think strategically about market opportunities.
  • Self-Starter: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to sales.


Package:

  • Basic Salary: £90,000
  • Commission: Double OTE
  • Hyrbird Working: Once a week in the Reading office
