Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support and manage client accounts, build relationships, and drive business growth. The ideal account manager will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach. They should be able to understand clients' needs, provide solutions, and ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, experience in sales, construction knowledge, account management, or a related field is typically preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with construction company clients. Understand their specific needs, challenges, and goals
- Attend weekly industry networking events within the North West and surrounding areas.
- Identify new business opportunities within the construction industry. Proactively prospect and generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into clients. Drive sales growth by upselling and cross-selling relevant products or services.
- Gain a deep understanding of the construction industry, including market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape. Stay updated our services, features, benefits, and applications in the construction sector.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service. Address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and customer support.
- Engage in contract negotiations with construction companies, ensuring that terms, pricing, and service level agreements are mutually beneficial. Monitor contract compliance and handle contract renewals or extensions.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with construction professionals, build relationships, and stay updated on industry developments. Leverage these connections to generate leads and expand your client base
