Business Development Director

Consulting experience with in Public Sector/Central Government

Home based (UK) - may require occasional travel to client site

Experience with ERP or CRM vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Epicor, NetSuite, iTrent, or Unit4.


We are working with a leading Microsoft Partner who are looking for a strategic and experienced Business Development Director with experience working with public sector and central government customers. This role requires a deep understanding of government frameworks and guidelines, along with a history of selling business applications to these sectors.


As an individual contributor you will be responsible for hitting, managing and exceeding your sales targets while managing and achieving the team’s sales objectives and pipeline.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth in ERP and CRM solutions for public sector and central government clients.
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target government agencies and public sector organizations.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Epicor, NetSuite, iTrent, or Unit4.
  • Utilize your knowledge of government frameworks and guidelines to tailor solutions that meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Achieve personal sales targets and drive the team towards meeting overall sales goals. Oversee and manage the sales pipeline to ensure successful deal closures.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in selling ERP or CRM solutions to the public sector or central government, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with major ERP/CRM vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Epicor, NetSuite, iTrent, or Unit4.
  • In-depth understanding of government frameworks, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team, inspire performance, and manage both individual and team sales targets.
