Purpose of Role:

  • The Senior Corporate Reporting Advisor is responsible for the production of all Corporate HSES reporting.


Areas of accountability, responsibility, competence and critical skills:

  • Manage the incident reporting tools and data bases
  • Liaise with the provider of the reporting tools and the IS department concerning all technical issues related to the relevant tools and databases
  • Process incident and accident reports, ensuring quality control of all reported incidents; support incident reporting in the BUs and share best practices
  • Analyse health and safety reports, determining trends and making recommendations on preventative or corrective measures
  • Lead the Lessons Learned activities
  • Maintain a cutting-edge understanding of relevant developments in data-analysis, reporting, and predictive analytics and works to convert dormant data into information to assist in incident prevention and process improvement


Critical Responsibilities

  • Manage the incident reporting tools and data bases
  • Responsible for generation of all HSES statistical reporting and KPI’s and to produce all required reporting, statistics, dashboards and presentations


Critical Skills

  • Skilled in the use of reporting software and applications
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, health and safety,
  • or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in corporate reporting, sustainability reporting, or HSES management within the oil and gas industry or a related sector.
  • Strong understanding of HSES regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to the oil and gas industry, including knowledge of relevant frameworks such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and software applications used for managing and analysing HSES data, such as EHS management systems (e.g., Enablon, Intelex) and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear and concise reports for diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and corporate responsibility
  • Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive change in a complex regulatory and operational landscape.
