MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Toy Company on the search for an E-Commerce Manager. This is a permanent position based in London.


As the E-Commerce Manager your primary focus will be on optimizing the performance of our e-commerce channels, you’ll also contribute to our broader marketing and sales initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic and growing business that brings joy to children and families through innovative toys.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the marketing team in implementing the overall e-commerce strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and brand identity.
  • Manage the e-commerce platform, including maintenance and regular updates, to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  • Oversee the e-commerce platform's sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Handle e-commerce stock management, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
  • Manage and curate digital content that resonates with our target audience, including product descriptions, images, and promotional materials.
  • Create and execute effective email marketing campaigns, including content development, automation, and performance analysis to increase customer engagement and sales.
  • Work closely with external designers to create engaging online and offline materials that support our brand and marketing campaigns.
  • Track and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels, including Affiliate Marketing, SEM, Facebook, Google Display, and SMS, to ensure they meet KPIs and drive e-commerce growth.
  • Execute and refine strategies to enhance our organic reach and visibility across digital platforms.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance and evaluate the marketing funnel, making data-driven adjustments to improve conversion rates.


What are we looking for?


  • 2-3 years of experience implementing digital marketing strategies, preferably in the toy or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various digital marketing channels and hands-on experience with tools like SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM software.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring high standards across all aspects of the e-commerce function.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously when required.
  • Strong time-management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • A highly motivated individual who is eager to contribute to a forward-thinking and expanding organization in the toy industry.
