Purpose of this role:

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the operations of our London based office. This role encompasses the management of day-to-day services including Reprographics, Post Room, Archives and Stationery.


The Team Leader ensures that the office space is well-maintained to the highest standard and that all office and workspaces are equipped with the necessary equipment. Working under minimal supervision, the Team Leader relies on extensive experience, proactivity, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

The role of the Team Leader is to effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of the health & Safety, quality, cost, delivery, technical, and human resources. Ensuring optimisation of equipment uptime by keeping equipment failure and inefficiency to a minimum through effective planned maintenance and remedy of breakdowns. Achievement of agreed KPI’s and SLAs.


The Team Leader encourages a culture of continuous improvement and proactive skill enhancement, motivation and support of a team and organisational goals.

A Forward thinking, proactive, self- starter, has gravitas and will be followed, prepared to offer up ideas for change and improvement across the site / business.


Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake any reasonable duties as requested by Operations Manager
  • Be responsible for the day to day running of the team
  • Ensure that the workload and team is staffed correctly (i.e. absence and holidays)
  • Conduct and manage onsite training needs
  • Monitor staff attendance and timekeeping and respond to issues
  • Management of absence process and procedures making sure cover is in place in all areas
  • Liaise regularly with the Senior Operators to give updates on workflow, deadlines and problems so that Client requirements can be effectively managed
  • Conduct Team meetings and regular 1-2-1 sessions, ensuring effective communication
  • Support the Operations Manager with all Annual and Interim reviews
  • Relate accurate information to users on progression of their work
  • Ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively to complete the SLA's
  • Investigate errors within the team and provide a full written report to the Operations Manager
  • Arrange fortnightly management information to be given timely to the Operations Manager
  • Comply with onsite Health and Safety procedures.
  • Compile the monthly H&S report and escalate any variances or areas of concern to the Operations Manager / H&S representative immediately
  • Support colleagues and work as a team to achieve the best results for the clients
