Demand Planner ***Premium B-CORP FMCG Leader***

Salary up to £40,000 + 10% Bonus, Pension, Healthcare and Holiday

Location: Central London (2 days per week office based and 3 days from home)


A leading B-Corp FMCG organization, renowned for its innovative and sustainable approach, is seeking to recruit a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner.


Key Duties will include:

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all products, taking into account factors such as historical sales data, demand fluctuations, market trends, seasonality, and potential shipping challenges.

Monitor inventory levels across multiple distribution centers to ensure optimal stock while minimizing excess inventory and avoiding stockouts.

Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and supply chain teams to communicate forecasted demand and ensure timely production and shipment scheduling.

Proactively identify and address demand-related issues, such as shortages or surplus inventory, and work with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.

Conduct regular performance reviews of forecasting models, adjusting parameters as needed to enhance forecast accuracy.

Track key performance metrics related to demand forecasting, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency, and generate reports for management.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Ideally, 2 years of experience in a demand analyst or demand planner role within FMCG. (Our client would also consider candidates from a procurement or insights background with a highly analytical skill set.)
  • Ideally degree-educated.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must (experience with Power BI/Query would be highly advantageous).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
