Demand Planner

Purpose
To ensure that replenishment tasks happen in a timely manner and that the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuity stock management ensuring that we achieve maximum efficiency with optimum availability by channel
- To optimise the distribution of existing stock across channels, maximising availability, ensuring display requirements are upheld and precisely directing scarce inventory to drive best sales and margin opportunities – always working within the bounds of store, DC and transport capacities
- Improve our stock and process efficiency through a data-driven and automated repurchasing approach
- Collaborate closely with the DC, Logistics Team and Retail to help drive storage, pick, transport and store receiving efficiencies through a more targeted approach to the replenishment process
- Management of stock buffers to ensure optimum availability and minimum UTF
- Work to OTB, availability and cover targets in line with company objectives and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
- Respond to reactive trading decisions to ensure that key stock is in the right place at the right time
- Produce demand forecasts for key partners to help plan inventory during peak trading periods
- Management of reporting of replenishment and availability ensuring transparent communication with all teams, surfacing issues, key out of stocks and opportunities
- Partner with IT and Logistics to design systematic processes to automate and optimise the flow of continuity inventory through the supply chain
- Developing and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships with Buying, Brand, IT, Logistics, Web, Marketing, Retail and Finance

Minimum Qualifications
An established leader, ideally with merchandising experience at a senior level
