This is a chance to join a great business who are expanding with the creation of a new state of the art bakery, in which you will be responsible for the scheduling of the production.
The Role:
As our Production Planner, you will be the foundation of operations, ensuring that the bakery runs smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will keep production process finely tuned, from ingredient sourcing to the final bake. You’ll work closely with the passionate team of bakers, ensuring that the artisan products are produced to the highest standard, on time, and with the utmost care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules that meet demand while optimising our resources and minimizing waste.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels of ingredients and packaging, ensuring nothing stands between us and a perfect bake.
- Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, production teams, and distribution partners to ensure a seamless flow of operations.
- Quality Control: Uphold our commitment to excellence by ensuring all products meet our rigorous quality standards.
- Problem-Solving: Address any production challenges swiftly, with creative and efficient solutions that keep our bread as exceptional as our customers expect.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience in production planning, ideally within the food manufacturing sector. A background in artisanal or small-batch production is a bonus.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities, with a talent for multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
