As a Marketplace & Channel Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with Marketplace and channel administrative tasks and daily operations. This includes looking at our integration partners, retail stores and websites. Your responsibilities will include completing and maintaining accurate product lists, inventory management and performance tracking across channels to drive sales opportunities and business growth.

This would be an ideal role for someone looking to start their career in merchandising in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketplace & Channel Management:

  • Create and maintain product listings on marketplace platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimisation.
  • Ensure products launch accurately and on time with correct pricing, images, copy, navigation and stock feed.
  • Keep up to date with marketplace features and tools to enhance product visibility.
  • Handle account enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicating with the marketing team and stores efficiently, informing any changes to the promotional or trading strategy.

Product Set up:

  • Complete product information sheets to set items up on Marketplace platforms and ensure information is complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with the studio team to ensure necessary images and copy are available for items to launch.
  • Ensure items are uploaded to the relevant channel efficiently at the planned launch timings.

Inventory and Order Fulfilment:

  • Support the Merchandiser with raising and maintaining sales orders throughout the season.
  • Working closely with stores by allocating new lines as well as maintaining optimal stock levels on all core product
  • Support with raising new and replenishment stock orders.
  • Coordinate with logistics team for timely order processing and fulfilment.
  • Critical path management – monitor stock deliveries highlighting delays to the team.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Support with team with running and analysing weekly and ad hoc sales reports to provide insights across the channels to drive the business forward.
  • Aid with actioning trade actions such as price changes, setting up promotions and sale markdowns
  • Run size analysis data to inform decisions going forward.
  • Competitor analysis


Qualifications & Skills:

  • A background in merchandising preferred but not essential
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using e-commerce platforms – Mirakl, Shopify
  • Experience using SAP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
