Looking to speak with Continuous Improvement experts that have experience in one of the following manufacturing sectors, Food & Drink Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive (Tier 1), Aerospace and Medical Devices.


A Food & Drink Manufacturing client require a C.I Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract. Ideally, they would like someone to be in the position by January 2025.


They are near the start of their C.I journey, so this role will suit someone who is happy to do a mix of "hands on" coaching and strategy development / implementation. This is a stand-alone role that reports into the Manufacturing Director.


Senior Management are fully committed to making sustainable change and they have identified the need to reduce waste and change the culture.



Role:


  • You will be responsible for improving, developing documenting and monitoring process performance metrics using lean and six sigma principles, effectively communicating recommended improvements and monitoring the effectiveness of new and improved processes.
  • Will act as a coach and mentor to key personnel in the team to bring them along on our C.I journey. There is a need for a better foundation and bottom-up approach.
  • You will manage variable workloads in a fast-paced environment.



The Candidate:


  • Successful track record in similar role.
  • Ideally be Six Sigma Black Belt qualified.
  • Ability to persuade and engage.
  • Must have experience in one of the following manufacturing sectors, Food & Drink Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Aerospace, Automotive (Tier 1) and Medical Devices.
  • Good coaching skills.
  • Demonstrate resilience.
