We are seeking an experienced Senior Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team at TWG Consulting Services Limited in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our operations.
Job SummaryThe Senior Health, Safety and Environment Manager will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement in energy efficiency and sustainability while maintaining a safe working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can manage multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package and opportunities for personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, providing up-to-date advice on changes in regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, including assessments on workplace, equipment, manual handling, PPE, and display screen equipment.
- Carry out COSHH and fire risk assessments.
- Develop and implement safe working procedures and ensure all staff are trained in health and safety practices.
- Investigate accidents, conduct root cause analysis, and support supervisors in accident investigations.
- Perform health and safety inspections and monitor completion of actions.
- Maintain health and safety and environmental management systems (ISO 14000 & ISO 45001).
- Oversee internal and external audits and liaise with regulatory authorities.
- Monitor energy usage and develop plans to maximise energy efficiency.
