Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Educator to join our nursery team
As a qualified Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work when you want and enjoy the benefits of being an employee. You will be responsible for engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
Working as part of a larger team, you will ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, such as hygiene standards and room preparation. Your ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults will be invaluable in maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
