Job Description

We are seeking a Head Culinary Specialist to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menu plans, leading kitchen operations, and delivering exceptional food experiences to our clients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Your salary will be £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menu plans to meet client expectations.
  • Lead kitchen operations to deliver high-quality food experiences.
  • Manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Candidate should have City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in managing kitchen operations and leading teams.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • Flexible approach to working and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
