Job Description

We are currently recruiting two Vaccines Implementation Leads to join our team at an exciting time, one to be based in London and one to be based in the South (excluding London). Our commercial business is evolving to enable us to align the needs of our customers with the commercial opportunities we are working towards to meet our public health goals. The Vaccines Implementation Lead (VIL) is a key customer facing role, accountable for the pull through of National Immunisation Programmes (NIPs) across priority vaccines, enabling Vaccines and Public Health BU to optimise vaccines coverage rates (VCRs) and reduce health inequalities, ensuring no one is left behind.

Activities and Priorities:

Activities and priorities are developed on a quarterly basis to allow us greater flexible delivery on our business objectives.

  • Ability to identify and appropriately build and maintain long-term, sustainable relationships with key regional customers (including, but not limited to ICBs, SITs, SAIS) to co-create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
  • Apply an advanced understanding of account needs, motivators, and interdependencies to create an account implementation plan, aimed at reducing barriers associated with sub-optimal vaccine uptake and meet local/regional public health goals.
  • Effectively lead a cross-functional account team to meet short and long-term objectives, establishing and tracking performance metrics to deliver impact at an account level.
  • Understand and intelligently apply knowledge of market dynamics e.g. NHSE Vaccine Strategy, demographic data (IMD) and corresponding VCR trends to make business decisions to improve overall public health outcomes.
  • Effectively implement and adapt the account plan aligned to stakeholder feedback and changing environment dynamics.
  • To enable enhanced visibility and accountability, share account progress and best practice with wider VIL team and cross-functional teams quarterly (or as required)
  • Accurately record account information on required documentation to demonstrate progress and impact of account implementation plan.

Key Capabilities for the role include:

  • Experience operating within an account-based model , with proven success
  • Expert knowledge of vaccines marketplace, emerging customers and environmental trends which impact our Vaccine portfolio.
  • Uphold the highest compliance standards through detailed understanding of our Business Practices, SOPs and guardrails.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of financial data and business facts (Brand Strategy, L3N Opportunity spaces etc) and use this data when decision making.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use knowledge of MS Teams/functions to help complete projects and is able to deliver effective and influential engagements that are articulate, accurate and tailored to the (internal/external) target audience.
  • Listen to others and integrate alternative points of view in decisions and ideas that will allow account impact to excel.
