Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vaccination Specialist to join our team at Vaccination UK. As a key member of our School Immunisation Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vaccination services to schools and community clinics.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties of the role include:

  • Administering vaccinations to school children during the flu season
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Supporting Programme Managers, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads as required
  • Attending sites across different locations as necessary
  • Delivering evidence-based and competent care to patients
  • Participating in clinical supervision and staff performance development
  • Reporting and monitoring clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints
  • Participating in audits and sharing outcomes with the team
  • Actively contributing to team meetings and Gillick Competency Assessments
  • Complying with Company policies and procedures

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Experience working within PGD frameworks
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule
  • Ability to understand and implement informed consent principles
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport
  • Paramedic registration with the HCPC or Pharmacist registration with the GPhC
