About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vaccination Nurse to join our team at Vaccination UK. As a key member of our School Aged Immunisation Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients and supporting the operation of our vaccination clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an effective and evidence-based level of care to patients
  • Support Programme Managers, Team Lead, and Clinical Lead as applicable
  • Attend sites across different locations as applicable
  • Participate in clinical supervision and the performance and development of staff
  • Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported, monitored, and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures

Person Specification

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Working within PGD frameworks
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule
  • Ability to understand and implement the principles of informed consent
  • Computer literacy
  • Cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport

Requirements

  • Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification
