Job Purpose: As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in influencing the digital transformation and decarbonization of process industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. You will do so by identifying key business opportunities and segmented prospects. Your goal will be to meet or exceed our annual quota and increase our revenue. You will be the client expert within your geo-market, collaborating with regional leadership and internal teams to set strategies, identify opportunities, and close sales with target clients. Your efforts will directly contribute to implementing KBC’s advanced technologies and driving substantial growth.


Essential Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Business Development and Sales is essential, ideally within the refining, petrochemical and / or chemical sectors. An understanding of process simulation would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Formulate strategies and identify key deals to ensure a strong sales pipeline
  • Structure major transactions, including alliances and acquisitions.
  • Drive financial health and value creation in sales.


Customer Relationship Development

  • Manage relationships for strategic accounts.
  • Coordinate engagement and issue resolution with customers.
  • Network with industry leaders and represent KBC at events.
  • .Use market insights to promote KBC.


Sell Customer Propositions and Customer Focus

  • Negotiate profitable agreements with customers.
  • Develop marketing plans to strengthen customer relationships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Business Development and Sales is essential.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding quota and closing sales
  • Strong network of senior industry contacts.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of digital transformation and decarbonization technologies.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
