We are seeking a highly motivated Environment, Health & Safety Co-Ordinator to join our team in Knowsley. Reporting directly to the HSE Officer you will support and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace and adhere to the ISO standards.


About the role

  • To provide support to the HSE Officer
  • Promote a safety-first culture by interacting with employees across all the business functions.
  • Support internal audits, workplace inspections and health and safety tours as required by the business and its certifications.
  • Support third party accreditation audits on an annual program.
  • Guarantee high standards from the outset to ensure accidents, incidents and lost time injuries are avoided.
  • Drive a positive and proactive safety culture to promote operational excellence in safety behaviours.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
  • First aid certification is desirable
  • Working towards NEBOSH or IOSH certification


Primarily a Monday to Friday role, with a requirement to support outside of this window dependant on the operational requirements.


Previous experience in HS&E as well as a manufacturing role would be advantageous
