About the Role:

As an Environmental Health Officer, you'll play a key role in regulating activities that impact air quality, land contamination, and public health. Your work will directly contribute to reducing health inequalities and improving the quality of life in Nottingham. You'll also provide specialist supervision, ensuring our services meet statutory requirements and achieve desired outcomes.


What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Environmental Health with EHRB certification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Strong background in applying environmental health legislation, conducting inspections, leading investigations, and working with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Extensive understanding of Environmental Health enforcement, with a specialisation in areas like housing standards, food safety, or environmental protection.
