At Summer Fields, known for its nurturing and vibrant academic atmosphere, the culinary service plays a significant role in the students experience. You'll help create a wide variety of dessert options and sweet treats for breakfast, lunch, supper, and special events, bringing delight to pupils, staff, and visitors alike.

Working closely with an experienced culinary team, youll have the opportunity to enhance the schools menu with your expertise, participate in exciting school events, and contribute to the evolving food culture at Summer Fields. This role allows you to leave a lasting impact, enriching the community with exceptional food and memorable experiences.



Job Description

The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced Pastry Sous Chef with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

Qualifications

  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have a progressive career to date
  • Be up to date with current food trends
  • Have a real passion for food and customer service
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Be able to work within set budgets
  • Know how to cost and plan menus accurately
  • Be familiar with training and coaching a team
