Job Title: Pastry Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a prestigious education setting. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Pastry Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Pastry Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members in food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and recipes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
