Pastry Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a prestigious education setting. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pastry Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and train a team of pastry chefs to ensure high-quality standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimize efficiency
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to meet client demands
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a similar setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train a team
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills to deliver high-quality food and service
  • Knowledge of current food trends and menu planning principles
  • Ability to work within set budgets and cost-effectively plan menus
  • Experience with training and coaching a team to achieve high standards
