Job Title: Pastry Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a prestigious education catering service provider. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastry and dessert options for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with a background in exceptional food catering services. You will be able to demonstrate excellent presentation, organisational, and communication skills, as well as a real enthusiasm for delivering exceptional food experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in creating and implementing menus for our clients
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of pastry and dessert options
  • Lead a team of pastry chefs to ensure high-quality food production
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and ordering
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
