The role

This is an exciting quantitative research role, in which you will be working in a small agile team that works across lots of different methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, traditional and innovative). We are seeking someone with expert quantitative research skills, however as we are a small team that conducts both quantitative and qualitative, you will have the opportunity to get involved and upskill across both.


This role would suit someone who wants to work in a fast- paced environment, with the ability to manage and juggle multiple projects. This is a leading role in producing high quality insight, writing and delivering presentations to clients, working on proposals, questionnaire design as well as develop strong client relationships.


Key duties

  • Designing research studies, including appropriate sampling approaches, proposal drafting, questionnaire design, writing table specs, data analysis, reporting and delivering presentations
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to time, through effective project planning (including planning ahead and managing risks) and delegation
  • Establishing and building relationships with clients and managing their bespoke research projects
  • Creating questionnaires against client objectives
  • Analysing data and creating insightful presentations
  • Keeping abreast of important trends and insights across sectors and markets of interest
  • Helping to identify and manage existing, and new, information & data sources.
  • Reviewing draft deliverables (e.g. presentations and reports) to ensure that they are client-ready and providing feedback to junior team members
  • Effectively managing relationships with suppliers, to ensure successful fieldwork
  • Building and managing effective client relationships through strong communication with individual client teams


Skills (essential):

  • Experience with the whole research project life cycle from design to delivery
  • Experience designing questionnaires
  • Experience in report writing and storytelling
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team
  • Demonstrable professional experience in a relevant data / quantitative/survey research environment.
  • Knowledge of analytical and statistical quality assurance approaches.
  • Advanced data manipulation skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written including extensive experience of presenting research findings to a non-specialist audience.
  • Able to analyse and synthesise complex information into key insights for a range of audiences.
  • Able to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to comfortably manage projects and deliver day-to-day
  • Time management skills, working across multiple projects, prioritising tasks efficiently and meeting demanding deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work well in teams, handle clients and negotiate with suppliers
  • Confident and clear written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accurate use of English


Skills (desirable):

  • Experience in a research agency is highly desirable
  • Experience in qual, such as sampling design, recruitment, writing discussion guides and creating stimulus materials, moderating in-depth interviews and groups
  • Knowledge of media tools such as TGI, TouchPoints, GWI, SimilarWeb, Telmar
  • Knowledge and experience using correspondence mapping and clustering techniques
  • Knowledge of behavioural science principles and application
  • Knowledge of media measurement and landscape
