Business Development Director

The Role
Our client is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Director who will take the lead in expanding their brand offerings. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients to grow their accounts.
You’ll be working across:
- Entertainment strategy
- Casting and talent procurement
- Brand collaborations
- Talent-driven experiential production
- Music sync and licensing
- Lifestyle industry
A key part of the role will involve developing our clients service offering and spearheading business development efforts, including pitching for new work and managing campaigns, casting, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development by identifying growth opportunities with brands and agencies.
- Lead on pitches and develop relationships to generate commercial opportunities.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring commercial targets are met.
- Develop and implement innovative talent and entertainment strategies for clients.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with brands, agencies, and key industry stakeholders.
- Act as a representative for brands when negotiating talent partnerships, ensuring sound contractual terms.
- Oversee casting, talent procurement, and bookings for projects across our brand division.
Requirements
- 5+ years of agency experience in campaign/account management, talent partnerships, casting, or influencer/entertainment marketing.
- A proven track record of successfully securing new business and driving commercial growth.
- Strong expertise in managing client relationships and delivering campaigns to a high standard.
- Excellent relationships with senior stakeholders across brands, agencies, and the creative industries.
- Experience in casting, talent procurement, and talent negotiations for endorsements, sponsorship, and licensing deals.
- A passion for identifying emerging talent, brands, and trends within the market.

- Effective research, writing, and presenting skills, with a focus on reporting to both talent and brand clients.
- A good understanding of social platforms, data analytics, and brand marketing.
- Proficiency in Keynote, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
