At Market Rocket, we're seeking an experienced Amazon Advertising Executive to enhance our team's capabilities. This role is pivotal in steering our clients' advertising campaigns on Amazon's Seller and Vendor Central to new heights of success.


The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Amazon's advertising tools, including but not limited to Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP. You will be expected to analyse complex data sets, craft bespoke advertising strategies, and continuously optimise campaigns for maximum efficiency and ROI.


Your responsibilities will encompass managing a portfolio of key client accounts, understanding their unique needs, and tailoring advertising solutions to meet these needs. The role demands a balance of analytical acumen and creative thinking, enabling you to craft advertising campaigns and growth strategies that resonate with target audiences.

Responsibilities:


  • Be responsible for managing and substantially growing the advertising revenue of a diverse portfolio of key clients. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Understand product category and subcategory placement and implement strategies to climb sales ranks.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in forecasting and allocating appropriate budgets for advertising campaigns, ensuring maximum return on investment and aligning with clients' financial goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies, leveraging Amazon's advertising tools like Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP.
  • Analyse complex data sets to uncover insights, forecast trends, and optimise campaigns for peak performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Brand Managers to ensure a cohesive approach to the client's overall Amazon strategy. This includes understanding the impacts of inventory management, pricing strategies, and brand positioning that could affect sales performance.
  • Offer expert advice and recommendations to clients, helping them to understand their advertising performance metrics and how these translate into broader business impacts.
  • Work with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to account management, ensuring that advertising strategies align with overall brand objectives and market dynamics.
  • Manage and develop client relationships with a view to growing commercial partnerships.
  • Have a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact a client's Amazon business.
  • Reporting and analysing both potential new and existing global selling opportunities.
  • Providing insight into the overall effectiveness and performance of campaigns alongside recommended actions.


The Successful Applicant:


  • Must be based in the UK and able to commute to our London-based office at least once a week.
  • 3+ Years of in-platform experience (Amazon Sponsored Product, Sponsored Brand/Video, Sponsored Display).
  • Has an operational knowledge of the Amazon retail platform (Vendor, Seller or both).
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are essential.
  • Has a high affinity for numbers.
  • Excellent communication, listening and presenting skills.
  • Experience in a client-facing role & strong ability to build relationships.
