As a Test and Verification Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that Videojet products meet the highest standards in terms of performance and quality. You will work closely with other members of the cross-functional team and contribute in a meaningful way to the development of new products and provide support for existing models. You will be located in our Huntingdon office, (office and lab-based work).
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Working on prototype printers to assess their performance against specification
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified on units during test
- Recording test results and where necessary the writing of technical reports
- Participate in the planning and execution of test programmes
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Hardware/product verification experience
- Have an understanding of sophisticated systems comprising mechanical, electronic & software elements
- Good problem-solving capabilities with data driven analysis and conclusion
- The ability to express technical matters effectively both orally and in writing
- Self-motivated including looking for more efficient ways of performing duties and tasks
- Teamwork within multi-functional project teams
