As an IT Support Apprentice, you will play a vital role in their team of experts, working towards your Information Communication Technician qualification delivered by Baltic Apprenticeships.

About the Job

You will be responsible for troubleshooting customer IT issues, configuring and testing new kits, and providing timely and accurate logging of customer issues on their company ticketing system. A typical day in this role may involve logging customer issues, troubleshooting IT or telecoms problems, and configuring new equipment prior to installation at customer sites. You will also produce clear descriptions of user problems and work closely with your workplace mentor and the Baltic team to deliver excellent customer service.

Salary and Benefits

This apprenticeship offers a competitive salary of £14,000 - £16,000 per annum, paid bi-weekly. In addition to a generous annual leave package, you will also enjoy 20 days' annual leave + bank holidays, as well as summer and Christmas social events. After completing the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress to a full-time role within the company, with access to extra paid courses and health insurance after one year. You will also accrue additional holidays after two years.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a hobbyist interest in IT, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver strong customer service. Self-motivation and enthusiasm are essential, and having a driver's license is ideal but not essential. You should also hold Grade 4/C in Maths and Grade 5/C in English GCSE.
