Field Sales Engineer

The Role: As a Field Sales Engineer for this exciting organisation, your remit will be to develop opportunities within OEMs. Selling a range of industrial automation products, comprising HMIs, Motors, PLCs, Servos, Sensors and Safety products, you will be charged with managing and developing existing accounts.

Dealing with Design Engineers through to Procurement Engineers and Buying Teams, the role of Field Sales Engineer will see you covering a region that spans through Lancashire down the N.West and over into Yorkshire, covering Leeds and Sheffield.

With the focus being on projects, your market sectors will comprise of panel builders, systems integrators and end users such as Food & Beverage sites as well as Aerospace and automotive.

As a business they are not only focused on providing the best for their customers but also the best for their employees. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Ideally you would have come from an industrial automation background
  • Understanding of PLCs, Drives and HMIs
  • A Go getting attitude with the desire to build a long term career
  • A technical appreciation, so even if you are not from industrial automation understand PLCs, HMIs and Drives
  • Not afraid to present in front of Design Engineers

Salary: Up to £45,000 basic salary DOE + £4-6K OTE + Car + Pension + healthcare + 25 days holiday

Candidate Location: North East England

Desired Skills and Experience

Ideally you would have come from an industrial automation background
Understanding of PLCs, Drives and HMIs
