Their Restructuring practice is top ranked & made up of some of the leading legal experts in London. The Partners are hugely bought into the power of effective BD & the success BD colleagues contribute to the firm.


Your new role

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in the firm’s Restructuring practice, working closely with Partners & fee-earners on a range of exciting projects & taking a leading role in their strategic direction.


Reporting into the BD Director, you’ll be part of the BD & Marketing function’s senior leadership & have a lot of autonomy for your practice. You’ll be responsible for their flagship thought leadership content, proposals & RFPs, business plans, pipeline, & profile-raising. You’ll work closely with their external PR agency, Events team, & international colleagues & have the support of a Coordinator in the team.


What you’ll need to succeed


  • Experienced BD Manager within the legal sector supporting a Restructuring/Insolvency practice or broader FS team
  • Can proactively support fee-earner BD needs
  • Excell at managing stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrate success at leading on pitch processes effectively
  • Enjoys being both hands-on & strategic in work & mentoring more junior members of a team
