Position Overview
As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in managing long, relationship-based sales cycles in a regulated field where quality is paramount. The role involves overseeing the sales pipeline, coordinating activities, and nurturing leads for complex, high-quality products. Operating in the highly regulated medical writing and pharmaceutical industry, this position requires someone who understands the importance of precision and compliance. If you excel in managing long sales cycles, working with complex products, and building trusted relationships, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and optimize a slow, methodical sales cycle, ensuring follow-up and tracking from prospecting to closure in a high-quality, regulated environment.
- Conference Coordination: Represent the company at industry conferences, scheduling meetings and following up with key contacts to nurture long-term relationships.
- LinkedIn Engagement: Lead targeted LinkedIn outreach strategies, focusing on building relationships with key stakeholders and generating thought leadership in a regulated field.
- Lead Nurturing: Work closely with clients to build trust over time, using a consultative and value based approach that reflects the complexity of the products and the needs of a regulated market.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal technical and project teams to ensure sales strategies align with product capabilities and compliance standards.
Key Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in SaaS sales, ideally within a B2B, HealthTech, startup, or niche market.
- Experience in a regulated field, such as medical, healthcare, or scientific industries, is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage long, relationship-driven sales cycles for complex products.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on quality and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical and complex solutions to diverse audiences.
- Experience organizing and managing business development activities at industry conferences.
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to thrive in a quality-focused environment.
