Role: Purchasing & Production Co-ordinator

Reporting To: Purchasing & Production Manager


Purpose of Job: Responsible for raising purchase orders and monitoring the supply chain processes to ensure goods are delivered accurately, in time. The ability to multitask and a high level of organisation, details and accuracy is a must.


Key responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase orders for general purpose wholesale stock, own retail stores and ecommerce site.
  • Provide necessary instructions to the supplier for packing and labelling based on customer requirements.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery dates from order placement through to delivery.
  • Working with the Logistics Team and Warehouse to ensure goods ship on time using the necessary transit method at the best price
  • Understanding the current IT systems and ensuring they are operated and maintained efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager and other team members in key projects as and when required.
  • Updating and maintaining of supplier manual, Brand SOPs and other documents needed for the business
  • Ad hoc duties such as ordering customer tickets and arranging to send to factories as required.


Knowledge and Background:

  • Exceptional organisational skills and great attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Proactive approach and seeks to provide solutions to problem solving
  • Fast and accurate inputter of data
  • Enthusiastic and well-motivated team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Highly proficient on Microsoft Excel and Word


This is a role based in our London office. It is a hybrid role, allowing 50% of the week working from home. Perry Ellis Europe's benefits for all staff include a company pension scheme, generous discounts on all our brands and 24 days holiday per year (plus Bank Holidays).
