Senior eCommerce Manager

Central Employment are working with a leading global leading, specialist B2C organisation based in the North of England who is looking for a talented and experienced Senior eCommerce Manager to join their team.


Role and responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales and growth across Marketplaces and Direct-to-Consumer websites.

  • Oversee and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Amazon, Google, and meta platforms to increase traffic, conversion rates, and overall return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with overall marketing initiatives and promotions.
  • Take a hands-on approach to website development, ensuring that Direct-to-Consumer websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for maximum performance.
  • Implement best practices in website design, navigation, and user experience to enhance customer engagement and boost sales.
  • Conduct regular website audits to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes to drive website performance.
  • Demonstrate expertise in working with e-commerce platforms such as Mintsoft and BigCommerce, ensuring smooth operations and optimal utilization of these platforms to drive growth.
  • Sound working knowledge of other e-commerce tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Sem Rush, Glew etc.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script.
  • Possess a solid grasp of SEO principles and the capability to actively engage in their implementation as the team continues to expand.


Experience required:

  • Strong background in managing paid ads across Amazon, Google, and meta platforms, with a track record of achieving positive ROI.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management with a focus on Amazon and Direct-to-Consumer websites.
  • Experience with website development and optimization, with proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as BigCommerce.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising strategies and performance tracking.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing and motivating a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
  • Willingness to be hands-on when necessary while possessing the vision and ability to lead a growing e-commerce team.
