Job Summary

As a stand-alone Talent Acquisition Manager reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be accountable for the full end to end recruitment lifecycle of hiring requirements for PUK (both clinical and non-clinical hiring) as well as evolving the strategy and process to ensure best practice and continuous improvement.


The role will be home based but could be required to attend various meeting locations as and when required. The role will also adhere to the flexitime principles for PUK.


Responsibilities and Duties

The post holder will have a variety of tasks, including the following.


This list is not exhaustive, and the post holder could be asked to perform a wider variety of duties to ensure resilience across the team.


Description of Duties:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment delivery in this rapidly growing business, for both clinical and non-clinical positions, up to an including induction.
  • Attract, source and engage the best quality candidates for the requirements, including talentpooling and market mapping.
  • Manage candidates through the process, ensuring correct use of PUKs chosen Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensure offer management, onboarding and induction is delivered effectively, to minimise dropouts, and enhance candidate experience. Review and implement improvements to process where applicable.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships and provide advice on best channels to market according to the role.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, including improvement of recruitment metrics such as time to hire and diversity of hire.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to process by HR and Hiring Managers.
  • Review and implement key process improvements, such as standardised interview templates and hiring manager training.
  • Update and reporting of key recruitment metrics to Exco and the Board and using relevant data to aid decision making and inform the right recruitment strategy.
  • Ensure attraction, sourcing and engagement strategy is up to date and continuously evolving to meet PUKs recruitment needs.
  • Implement an events strategy, to include planning, organising and attending relevant events, and monitoring their success.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as brand and marketing, and risk and compliance, to ensure adherence to PUK standards and applicable law.
  • Keep all governance and process documentation up to date.
  • Focus on enhancing candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle.
  • Review with the potential to implement, Graduate/Apprenticeship programmes as suitable for the business needs.
  • Plan own workload to ensure that tasks are met.
  • Prioritise workload with consideration to issues arising and responding to shifting priorities appropriately.
  • The post holder will attend online training as relevant to the post including mandatory training courses i.e. Information Governance, safeguarding, Health and Safety courses etc.


Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of managing the end-to-end recruitment process in a fast paced, high-quality environment.
  • Evidence of owning and evolving a recruitment strategy (either at business unit or company level).
  • Senior stakeholder management and building of trusted advisor relationships.
  • A strong collaborator, able to work with and influence multiple internal teams.
  • A keen focus on improving candidate experience through the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Strong administration skills with proven experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions, but also use initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan and prioritise work.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information, and act with integrity at all times.


Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Clinical recruitment experience highly desirable.
  • Highly analytical and able to make decisions based on data.
  • Experience of working in a performance and metrics driven recruitment environment.


Compensation

Competitive (plus £1,000 home-working allowance per annum)
