Purpose of the Role


Based in Central London, this exciting new Property & Facilities Reception Manager opportunity has arisen to join us creating great places to work. This front of house role requires you to provide high quality reception, visitor management and concierge services.

This is a part time role – 20 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am-1.30pm with half hour break.

What you will do


This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, the Property & Facilities Area Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:


  • Provide a best-in-class service to all stakeholders, visitors and colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with site stakeholders, the wider Property & Facilities team and contractors/ service partners.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to incoming telephone, email and Microsoft teams messages, ensuring any requests are acted on and followed through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Provide general reception duties, including but not limited to:
  • Visitor management (meet and greet, notifying host, escorting to meeting room etc)
  • Booking meeting rooms and assisting in the co-ordination and preparation of rooms
  • Administrative duties such as booking travel, accommodation, booking couriers, taxis.
  • Managing hospitality for events, large meeting etc
  • Arranging refreshments as required.
  • Distributing post and ordering office supplies via the correct internal process.
  • Report property and facilities issues to the Property and Facilities Manager, and where required the local building management, including H&S hazards.
  • Carry out basic cleaning duties and undertake cleaning audits as required for the Property and Facilities Manager.
  • Attend team meetings as required.

You will need to be smartly presented, highly organised with excellent attention to detail, can prioritise challenging objectives and multitask efficiently. We are seeking an open and honest communicator who is driven and committed to providing a first-class service. This is a small team so you will need to use your initiative whilst also be willing to work together to get the job done. Listening skills and being able to mediate is important to being successful in this role as well as always striving to find the best solution to problems.
