Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative E-commerce Email Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong design portfolio, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of email marketing design best practices and trends in the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design visually appealing and effective email marketing campaigns for e-commerce clients, including promotional emails, newsletters, automated workflows, and transactional emails.

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their brand identity, target audience, and business goals to create tailored email designs.

- Utilise design principles and best practices to create email templates that are both aesthetically pleasing and optimised for conversions.

- Implement A/B testing of email designs to determine the most effective layouts, colour schemes, and visual elements.

- Ensure all email designs are mobile-responsive and render correctly across various email clients and devices.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our email designs remain innovative and effective.

- Work closely with the content team to ensure a cohesive and engaging user experience within email campaigns.

- Manage email design tools and platforms, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of campaigns.

- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for design improvement and differentiation.

- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in email design, preferably within the e-commerce sector.

- Strong portfolio showcasing your email design skills and creativity.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and email design platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot).

- Excellent understanding of email design best practices, including layout, colour theory, typography, and user experience.

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus.

- Familiarity with email marketing metrics and the ability to translate data insights into design improvements.
