Job Description: As a Shopify Developer, you will be pivotal in driving the optimization and performance of our Shopify store, directly impacting our revenue growth and customer experience. In this role, you’ll not only execute development tasks but also execute and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing conversion rates and overall store performance. This position is perfect for someone passionate about eCommerce who wants to make a significant impact on business outcomes and grow alongside the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shopify Development & Optimization: Develop new pages and elements, and customise/optimise our current store, ensuring it is high-performing, user-friendly, and aligned with CRO best practices.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead the implementation of CRO strategies by setting up shipping, content, pricing and offer A/B tests, and deploying winning changes that drive higher conversion rates and improve the user journey.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Regularly monitor store performance metrics, such as site speeds, suggest ways to improve, and monitor the impact of implemented changes.
- Project Management: Oversee and execute key development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with our website strategists to align development efforts with broader business goals and make sure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for the Shopify store, including addressing technical issues, managing third-party integrations, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, eCommerce trends, and CRO techniques, continuously applying new knowledge to enhance store performance.
About You:
We are seeking someone exceptional who has the right attitude, a lot of energy, and a strong drive. You must thrive in a fast-paced team and be passionate about the end-user experience. You should be able to collaborate effectively, but also be comfortable working independently on projects and proposing innovative improvement solutions. You should be comfortable working at a high pace.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3 years + of experience developing shopify websites.
- Working hours must be GMT +/- 2 hours.
- Experience with setting up and launching CRO tests (bonus points for previous use of Intelligems platform)
- Experience in setting up various content tests via different mechanisms; such as template, theme, onsite edits, split URL tests, and more.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Other Valuable Skills:
- Experience working in a small, high-performance team.
- Experience in E-Commerce/consumer goods.
