Our client is recruiting a Sous Chef to work as part of the team in the Events Kitchen of their luxury Hotel in the Solihull area. This is an opportunity for a highly organised Chef to work in the Events kitchen reporting to the Head Chef. You will help manage a team of chefs and prepare meals for high end conference and events, BBQ's, Private Dining, afternoon teas, bar food, Breakfast and demonstrations. This is an excellent opportunity in a luxury venue which uses quality seasonal ingredients. You will have a 4 day on, 3 off working week.

The Role

  • Working in the events kitchen to serve meals for high end weddings and events, PDR, Bar meals, BBQ's and Breakfast
  • Managing junior chefs
  • Ensuring all aspects of your kitchen are to the company standards
  • Working closely with other managers to ensure events are sent our smoothly

The Person

  • Already a Sous Chef
  • Strong background in banqueting, weddings and events to AA rosette standards in a luxury hotel
  • Calm and able to work as part of a team
  • Understands all paperwork relating to the kitchen.
