The Role:
As a key player in our team, you'll be at the heart of our international operations, ensuring our diverse range of wellness products comply with global trade regulations. Reporting directly to the Head of International Trade, you'll be our go-to expert on international compliance, facilitating smooth and lawful cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of global trade regulations, including animal origin , organic, and high-risk products.
- Understand the EU trade operation agreement, and commodity classification
- Ensure compliance for exports to key markets including EU, China, Australia, and the USA.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, customs officials and external partners.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of product documentation and compliance records.
- Introduce internal audits to maintain and improve compliance standards.
- Work closely with the Export Data team to manage and integrate compliance data effectively
Location:
Based in Nuneaton, this role operates under a hybrid model with 2-3 days a week on-site, supporting flexibility and productivity. There may be occasional/ad hoc travel required to Ireland and the Netherlands.
Closing Date: Thursday, 7th March at Midnight.
The Person:
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in international product compliance, ideally within the wellness industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of global regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a similar industry where you have played an integral role during Brexit would be highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs or a related field or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building capabilities.
- A collaborative team player, able to work effectively across various teams.
