Role Overview

As an On-Trade Sales and Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our on-trade channel, fostering relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional sales performance. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our trade customers are equipped with the knowledge, products, and creative solutions they need to excel.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Excellence: Drive sales growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with on-trade customers across bars, restaurants, and hotels. Understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their offerings and customer experience.


  • Brand Ambassador: Become the face of Spiritly Trade within your area, embodying our passion for the industry and representing our extensive portfolio of premium spirits and wines.


  • Education and Support: Leverage the expertise of our in-house educators and creative & marketing team to provide customers with training, menu development, and marketing support that sets them apart from the competition.


  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to advise our customers proactively and adjust strategies accordingly.


  • Tech-Savvy Solutions: Utilise our technology solutions that streamline operations, enhance customer engagement, and improve overall customer satisfaction.


What we’re looking for:


  • Passion for the Drinks Industry: A genuine enthusiasm for spirits, wines, and the broader beverage landscape with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in sales of premium spirits to/in the on-trade, off-trade or hospitality sector.


  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and the ability to drive business growth with a demonstrable track record of performance and delivery of results.


  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.


  • Creative Thinker: Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.


  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with technology and its application in improving business processes and customer experience.


  • Proactive Team Player: Motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals.
