The West Group are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their sales team The successful candidate should have engineering experience - preferably mechanical.


The role will include, but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned accounts - Maintain and grow the sales profit for the accounts designated to you.
  • Field Based - Visiting new opportunities and current customers each week.
  • Proactively Seek New Business - Use leads and opportunities/projects whilst maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  • CRM Updates for All Calls
  • Forecast - Work alongside the AM to provide accurate forecasts each Financial Year
  • Analyse Sales Patterns
  • Trade show / exhibition assistance when required
  • Liaison with Sales Director, Technical and Production Departments to ensure proper implementation of projects.
