  • Lead and Inspire: Guide a dedicated team of sales and sales support professionals, leveraging your proven track record in enterprise solution sales and leadership.
  • Innovate and Grow: Use your entrepreneurial spirit and commercial innovation to expand Cellnex UK’s footprint in the Enterprise and Public Sector segments.
  • Engage and Influence: With your natural ability to engage at the CxO level, you and your team will promote and sell cutting-edge In-building solutions using Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) technology.
  • Learn and Collaborate: Benefit from the expertise of both local UK and corporate Product and Marketing teams, and contribute to our mission to revolutionize how industrial organisations and the public sector leverage new technologies.


We are seeking an extraordinary commercial leader who:


  • Has a successful track record in enterprise solution sales and sales management/leadership.
  • Is familiar with industrial segments such as manufacturing, mining, logistics, oil & gas, and energy generation, and/or has experience with public procurement and building relationships with public bodies at both central and local levels.
  • Can consistently meet the sales TCV and pipeline growth targets in the country for the relevant segment and solution set, with an annual team TCV target in excess of ~£10m.
  • Can build and develop a high-performance sales and technical pre-sales team.
  • Can oversee the execution of clearly articulated ‘win plans’ for flagship opportunities in the UK.
  • Will deliver regular, high-quality, and transparent reporting of activity and results.
  • Can collaborate with marketing to develop and execute compelling event strategies and lead generation campaigns to drive preference for Cellnex UK.

Main Responsibilities


  • Lead, manage and develop a team of c. 3-4 sales professionals
  • Build upon the excellent foundations of our recent acquisition
  • Sets the country's overall commercial direction and criteria for the In-building solutions product line include a range of activities including pricing, marketing, communication and sales within Enterprise and Public Sectors
  • Identify, qualify and close strategic business opportunities in the country either directly and/or working through/coaching team members (expected deal sizes range from £200k to in excess of £2m+ and expected to grow as market matures)
  • Engage with potential customers and collaborate with Cellnex’s teams to create the offering that matches customers’ requirements
  • Contribute to developing growth opportunities for Cellnex through market/segment contacts
  • Interpret external business issues and recommend solutions. Understand the customers’ business model and the market’s legal framework
  • Prepare (co-ordinate) customer presentations, tender documents and contracts. Negotiate customer contracts
  • Leads, supports and contributes to the Sales process during project bid preparation (strategy, approach, partnership, scope, pricing, risk mitigation, etc.)
  • Develop partnership opportunities with customers, with a long-term view of developing the local business for Cellnex
  • Work pro-actively and independently, with guidance in the form of policies and guidelines and with coaching from senior experts at Cellnex
  • Demonstrate a “can-do” working style and be persistent in pursuing opportunities


Candidate Profile


  • Demonstrable experience in business development or commercial sales positions, preferably in Enterprise Sales, Telecommunications, Private Wireless or Technology
  • Very experienced with business analysis, including commercial, operational and financial models.
  • Very experienced in constructing, negotiating and winning large/complex commercial proposals.
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholder relationships to CxO level
  • Deep industry knowledge of Infrastructure and Telecommunications and how this is relevant to the business and operating model of Enterprise customers
  • Experience applying strategic analysis models (market research, analysis of competition, financial markets, regulatory and technological).
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and develop Commercial and sales teams
