IKM is a leading service provider in the oil and gas industry, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that meet and exceed our clients' expectations. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Lead to join our team and contribute to the continued growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Account Management: Follow IKM's Sales and Account Management processes to develop and secure new business opportunities. Maximize potential within existing client portfolios and explore future service offerings.
- KPI Delivery: Achieve all key performance indicators (KPIs) agreed upon with the Sales Manager.
- CRM Management: Ensure all sales activities and relevant data are accurately recorded in the CRM system.
- Client Relationships: Maintain and develop strong business relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded.
- Tender Participation: Actively participate in the tender process, including preparing methodologies, equipment lists, pricing schedules, and reviewing tender submissions to ensure alignment with customer needs and IKM's strategy.
- Bid Management: Attend bid clarification and negotiation meetings with clients, ensure timely follow-up, and manage the bid register, including lessons learned.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights on market size, volume, pricing, and opportunities.
- Client Communication: Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the bid and operational phases of projects, ensuring IKM's best interests are represented at all times.
- Travel & Representation: Be prepared to travel at short notice to various IKM and client locations, representing IKM in external and internal meetings.
- Process Improvement: Assist in developing and improving business development procedures within the IKM Management System.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate management reports related to business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Full UK Driver’s Licence.
- Preferred: HNC or higher in engineering or a business-related degree.
- Preferred: Experience in the UKCS oil and gas industry, either offshore or onshore.
Personal Skills:
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent listener with the ability to identify and understand client needs.
- Enthusiastic and committed to learning new skills and acquiring knowledge.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
