Stewart Investors, with £14.7 billion of client assets under management as of 31 March 2024, actively manages long-only Asia Pacific, Emerging Market and Worldwide equity investment strategies. Position Purpose

As a Company Relationship Associate, you will assist with the planning, co-ordination and management of investment meetings and research trips for our investment teams. In addition, you will also provide administrative support and any other ad hoc duties as detailed below.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of company relationships and engagement activity for Stewart Investors
  • Provide administrative support and activity relating to company correspondence including maintaining contact database with details and interactions with companies
  • Support the investment team in prepping for company meetings, travel relating to investment research, as well as drafting and distributing letters to companies relating to research, proxy voting, engagement and general correspondence
  • Manage the proxy voting process and co-ordinate with the investment team for instructing voting decisions
  • Reporting in relation to all company relationship activities (bi-annual and annual corporate access statistics, proxy voting, engagement tracking)
  • Support with regulatory reporting


Required Capabilities:

  • Experience of working within a professional environment and ideally across different time zones
  • Experience in travel planning, in particular fairly complex trips, and a good understanding of geography preferred
  • Demonstrable ability of interacting with people at all levels of a business, both internally and externally
  • Ability to handle a fast paced schedule, remaining flexible, calm and level headed
  • Good prioritisation and organisation skills developed through processing large volumes of information whilst ensuring the highest degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work well on their own initiative, taking ownership for their own tasks and deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and have experience with the use of Databases, Power BI and Customer Relationship Management software to co-ordinate and manage relationships
