Position Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for creating analytical solutions that provide insights into business performance and inform internal decision-making processes. You will focus on developing dynamic reporting solutions and dashboards, and collaborating with key business stakeholders to ensure their information needs are met.


This Business Intelligence Analyst role is part of the Global Data function, which oversees data governance, management, and reporting strategy across the firm. The function aims to enhance trust in data, maximize its strategic value, and minimize associated risks. You will contribute to unifying data environments and technologies to ensure internal and external data sources are appropriately captured, integrated, and made available for decision support. Additionally, you will provide data-focused insights to our investment and business management teams through dynamic business intelligence reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to capture information requirements and translate them into scalable business intelligence solutions
  • Provide training and support to enhance user adoption and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Exercise thought leadership and guidance, share knowledge, and motivate innovation opportunities
  • Analyse business processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation and richer information delivery
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dynamic dashboards, cubes, scheduled extracts, and parameterized reports
  • Develop analytical data models and contribute to the design of data pipelines


Required Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing business intelligence solutions
  • Experience in business partnering, preferably with a sales or distribution focus in asset management industry
  • Exposure to the global asset management industry, with a working knowledge of the investment process and data domain
  • Extensive experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI or other visual tools) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar platforms)
  • Qualification in a technology or quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics
  • Expert SQL skills. Additional data analysis or presentation languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript D3) are advantageous
  • Excellent communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal client groups
  • Collaborative and supportive team player with a commitment to responsible investment principles
