Merchandise Admin Assistant

Our products are comfy, stylish, designed to last and all ethically made by our factory friends in Europe. ​


Our team of talented bedmakers are based out of our Bedquarters in Bognor Regis (where you’ll find our Warehouse and Customer Happiness Teams) and everyone else can be found in our offices just south of Chichester. ​


Job Summary


Our Merchandise Admin Assistant will play a fundamental role in the Commercial (Merchandising) Team’s, ensuring we are efficiently and accurately managing stock inventory. The primary aim is to optimise stock management processes, minimise instances of stock-outs and maximise operational efficiencies.


You will maximise stock availability and maintain accurate inventory records by analysing stock data, supply and demand patterns to make informed decisions.


You will be organised with strong communication skills, proactively look to improve processes and shape improvements in supplier performance. This role directly reports into the Senior Merchandiser with no direct/indirect reports.


Job Responsibilities


  • Being accountable for stock ordering processes, stock management and delivery coordination to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Produce Weekly Trade Reports and Stock updates to provide accurate information multiple departments across the business.
  • Support the Merchandising Assistant and Senior Merchandiser to provide analysis to assist new product decision making.
  • Maintaining positive, professional relationships with suppliers, operations and our shipping partners.
  • Approaching tasks with a can-do attitude and finding solutions to stock shortages and delivery delays to drive KPIs.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely communication of stock availability and delivery issues to the business as well as tracking inventory and shipments. Analysing potential business impact of any discrepancies and delays.
  • Maintaining updated product information across spreadsheets, our website platform, and Warehouse Management Systems, including accurate pricing on the site.
  • Applying a social and environmental lens to everything and supporting our goal to be the most responsibly sourced, B- Corp certified, bed linen brand.


About the Candidate


You will have:


  • Experience in a supply chain and/or retail merchandising role is desirable.
  • Degree educated or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
  • You must be analytical, organised, proactive and forward-thinking with exceptional time-management and attention to detail.
  • You must have a good commercial awareness with strong decision-making skills.
  • You have a great attention to detail and are solution focused.
  • Proven proficiency in excel is essential.



This is a full-time hybrid position based in Chichester 3 days per week with a salary range of £23,500 to £25,000.
