Position Overview: We are seeking an ambitious, high-energy Sales Director with a strong background in payments and fintech to lead our efforts in acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth in the UK Region. This role is focused on building a strong pipeline and closing deals with enterprise clients, leveraging your deep industry knowledge and consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate is a "hunter" with a proven track record of successfully closing complex deals, driving market expansion, and meeting aggressive sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Lead the charge in prospecting, identifying, and securing new enterprise clients in the payments and fintech sectors.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy targeting high-value clients and high-growth markets.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at the C-level and senior management across enterprise accounts.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline, ensuring consistent activity and moving prospects through all stages of the sales process.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed sales targets by closing large deals and driving the adoption of payment solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client needs, pain points, and business objectives to present customized fintech solutions that align with their goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies, improve product offerings, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, progress updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in payments and fintech to inform sales strategies.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years in B2B sales, with a focus on payments, fintech, or SaaS.
  • Proven success in acquiring new business, specifically in selling complex, enterprise-level solutions.

Skills:

  • Strong “hunter” mentality with a proven track record of lead generation, relationship-building, and closing sales.
  • Ability to sell complex, consultative solutions and articulate the value of payments/fintech products to diverse clients.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track pipeline and sales activity.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications or industry knowledge in payments or fintech are a plus.
