if so, then this could be the role for your development.. due to the launch of a new product in the UK market our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to take on the mantle of leading the launch.

This group are a global pharmaceutical company, with a strong portfolio of existing products already performing well in the market. This is a newly created role for a brand new product launch in the UK, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading local launch preparation and implementation through effective collaboration with Market Access UK
  • Develop sales strategy and planning
  • Manage and execute local sales and marketing related activities
  • Identify and analyse market information in order to provide up-to-date insights on market activities
  • Post-launch: lead and coach the sales team (including performance management)
  • Deliver sales performance through sales team leadership and implementation of operational marketing activities

Who we are looking for:

  • Degree educated
  • Experience in selling Ophthalmology products (account based selling, stakeholder management and marketing tactics implementation).
  • Experience in product launch processes
  • Proven successful sales record (ideally with a marketing background)
  • In-depth knowledge of UK healthcare system
  • Desire to grow and lead a successful sales team

This a UK based position with remote home working pattern. Travel will be required for this position - both to the EU HQ and also within the UK for congresses/meetings as required.
